Father Robson Caramano

Father Robson Caramano was born in Jaú, São Paulo, on February 27th, 1989. Son of Mr. Pedro de Camargo (in memorian) and Mrs. Luzia Caramano, he was baptized in the Parish of St. Sebastian in Jaú, on June 11th, 1989, by Father Godofredo.
He received the Sacrament of Confirmation on December 7th, 2003, from Mons. Colombo in the Parish of Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora, which the first ever parish he attended to. On February 4th, 2007, he entered the Propaedeutic Seminary of the Diocese of São Carlos, São Paulo.

In 2010, he completed his studies in Philosophy at the John Paul II Major Seminary , and, in 2014, he completed a theology course at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, São Paulo. Father Caramano is also bachelor in Theology by Faculdade Vicentina de Curitiba, Paraná (2017).

He was ordained deacon on December 6th, 2013, using the motto “In all love and serve”. When receiving the second degree of the order, on December 10th, his motto was “They may all be one”.

Father Caramano is the current parochial vicar assigned to the Parish of St. Nicholas of Flüe (São Nicolau de Flüe) (Bruder Klaus von Flüe) and is also responsible for the Youth Sector in the Diocese of São Carlos and in the Pastoral Sub-Region of Campinas. Additionally, Father Caramano is the press and media officer of the Diocese of São Carlos.
